RICHARD DERK - Chief Financial Officer

As the Chief Financial Officer, Richard M. Derk reports directly to President/ Chief Executive Officer Ilya, and his responsibilities for the Company include financial management, planning and forecasting, liaison with banks and other institutions within the financial community, and implementation of streamlined and centralized state-of-the-art accounting systems. Mr. Derk also sits on the Board of Directors for the Company.

Mr. Derk has been working as a Certified Public Accountant for over 20 years. From 1961 until 1965 he served in the United States Air Force and then graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 1971 where he received his BS in Business. He began his career working in financial management at Moore Business Service, after which he took a position as a field agent with the Internal Revenue Service where he worked for six years. Mr. Derk then accepted the position of Director of Finance for one of Florida's leading institutional hospitals. This was followed by his establishment of a public accounting firm specializing in corporate accounting, taxation, and financial strategy development.

Mr. Derk has served as President of the Institute of Management Accountants. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
